Gebo’s EIT™ system is a powerful combination of Web-based applications with MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and MOM (Manufacturing Operations Management) functionalities intended to the manufacturing/packaging industry. Highly flexible, EIT™ consists of a range of scalable modules providing a powerful production insight.


The system automatically records 24/7 raw production data, calculates a wide array of KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to help measure performance, analyzes production issues, detects efficiency loss sources and performs root cause analyses, to ultimately decrease unplanned downtime, reduce waste and costs, and increase the plant’s output.

  • EIT Writer

    Data acquisition

    The EIT Writer module is the core engine of the whole system. To maximize performance and ensure accuracy, it has been developed as an independent data acquisition service, reading raw data directly at the PLC level rather than being based on HMI software.


    First fault latching ensures data accuracy regardless of line network communication needs. Data is then registered into a database for further use by other EIT™ modules.

    Performance & User Interface

    The EIT Reader is the User Interface (UI). From this single entry point, users can access screens and dashboards of all EIT™ modules already licensed and installed on the line/plant. Each user can apply his own settings and use the data filter to better customize his screens or dashboards. The application runs state-of-the art analytical capabilities and uses interactive graphical formats. In addition of being the system UI, the EIT Reader focuses on key running parameters and KPIs related to equipment performance and production issues.

  • EIT AQ-Clock

    Optimization of operator’s management of accumulation


    Through a graphical display, the EIT AQ-Clock module measures in real time accumulation among and in-between machines, the main reference being always the critical machine. Continuously updating available accumulation, the module displays mission critical information to operators.

    • How much time a machine stop can be induced (ex. for cleaning purposes…) or last without impacting and jeopardizing the line efficiency.
